Teachable is a popular and highly regarded platform for the creation of online training courses which can then be published on the site using your own domain or one which Teachable supplies.

There are a variety of Teachable subscription plans available, including a free one, to suit all requirements from the occasional course for in-house staff training use up to setting up and running your own online training academy with a built in LMS (Learning Management System).

Courses built with Teachable are fully responsive, so your students can take the course and view all of your content from desktop computers and mobile devices such as tablets, and smartphones. You can include video content within your courses and there is also a quiz builder option with a more sophisitcated version being available only in higher priced plans.

It’s a full service platform, you have everything you need to build the course and then publish it to a webpage that you can completely customise to suit your requirements. If you want to sell your courses there are a number of charging options available, including the option to bundle courses together as a package.

Integrations are available for Mailchimp, Infusionsoft and Aweber, amongst others.

Price – Teachable offers a free of charge basic account so you can try it out risk free. If you like it, and I think you will, then the entry level plan starts at $39/month or $33.25 if you pay annually in advance. To get all the features however, it’s a bit of a hike up to $99 ($83.25 annually) if you need them.
